About the Author
Rich Snyder, DO, holds a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Snyder completed his residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and his nephrology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology. He is also the author and coauthor of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and the best-selling What You Must Know about Dialysis. In addition to teaching future clinicians, Dr. Snyder maintains a part-time clinical nephrology practice in eastern Pennsylvania.
