The family is initially thrilled to see them, but tensions arise when a Romanian countess, who is a Nazi sympathizer, arrives and begins to stir up trouble. As the play progresses, secrets are revealed, and the family must come to terms with their own beliefs and loyalties. The play explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the struggle between personal ideals and political realities.
