This concept of empowering everyone to be a leader is consistent with the notion of encouragement in Rehabilitation Counseling as it correlates to supporting individuals with disabilities to become self-governing. All Rehabilitation Counselors must begin to view themselves as leaders in the profession, and more importantly, leaders who can transform the profession.
