About the Author
Doug Alderson is a Florida naturalist and writer. He has published many articles in magazines such as Wildlife Conservation, Sierra, and Florida Wildlife, and has written several books on nature in Florida. He is also the author of A New Guide to Old Florida Attractions and Traveling Florida's Seminole Trail (Pineapple Press).
