About the Author

Gina Clayton, Senior Lecturer in Refugee Law, Sheffield Hallam University Refugee Law Clinic, Georgina Firth, LLB (Hons), LLM, Barrister, Senior Lecturer, University of Lancaster

Gina Clayton has been an independent researcher, facilitator and writer on asylum and migration projects, including reports for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency and the AIDA database, a trustee of refugee charities in South Yorkshire, and is currently part of the team at Sheffield Hallam University Refugee Law Clinic, specialising in refugee family reunion.

Georgina Firth is a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University. She previously worked as a barrister at Garden Court North Chambers.
