Jeff Gilliland is a writer and arts administrator in Washington, DC. He grew up in El Cerrito, California, where he remembers playing soccer and poker with his hilarious great-uncle Gino. He found out later that his great-uncle's name was actually "Cino", and that his life story was incredible. With the help of his father, Jim, Jeff and Cino set out to share his story with the world.
