Description

It happened in seconds. In New York City everything moves so quickly. Seldom does time slow down enough that you're able to recognize the carefully worked seed stitch on a hand-knit, dark blue, Merino wool sweater; especially on a girl blazing past you at rush hour speed. But I saw it. It was my sweater. Why was she wearing the sweater I knitted for him? Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater, a novel featuring seven original knitting patterns, is a light-hearted tale of love, loss, friendships, and knitting.

About the Author
Patricia and Adam Scribner Patricia Scribner is the owner of Patricia's Yarns, a yarn shop located in the quaint Hudson River-front city of Hoboken, NJ. Her husband, Adam, is a Science Professional Development Specialist in the Center for Innovation in Engineering and Science Education located at Stevens Institute of Technology. The couple met in 1995 while attending the University of Rhode Island. Together, they reside in Hoboken with their one year old daughter, Grace, and their dog, Riley. They can be found most weekends at Patricia's Yarns (www.patriciasyarns.com). A note from Patricia: We are very excited that Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater is now for sale! The idea for Curse was scribbled onto napkins in 2004, started in 2006, scrapped for a new outline in 2008, re-written in 2009, and edited many times since. Curse has certainly been a labor of love; we wrote, edited, created the cover, and published the book ourselves. We hope you enjoy it.
