Alfred (\"Chief\") Anderson, the man who became the lead trainer at Tuskegee during World War II. In part because of Buehl's insistence that he be examined fairly, Anderson, who became known as the \"Father of Black Aviation,\" was the first black pilot to earn the Air Transport License. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere are few books that feature the development of civilian aviation rather than military aviation but this is one.
